HOW WE HELP OUR COMMUNITY?
Where football meets purpose beyond the pitch. Here, you'll find the projects and programs we're proud to run in support of our local community.

DUKE OF EDINBURGH
At Football Fitness Academy, we proudly support students working towards their Bronze, Silver, or Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award by helping them complete their Skills or Volunteering sections. Whether they choose to develop their coaching abilities, improve their football techniques, or assist with younger age groups, we provide structured, meaningful opportunities that align with the DofE requirements. Our experienced staff ensure students not only meet the criteria, but also gain valuable life skills, confidence, and a sense of achievement along the way.

WORK EXPERIENCE
We offer valuable work experience opportunities for students aged 14–16 who are passionate about football and keen to explore a future in sports coaching. Our structured program allows students to get hands-on experience assisting with coaching sessions, learning from qualified coaches, and developing key skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication. It's a great way for young people to gain insight into the sports industry while building confidence and fulfilling school work experience requirements in a fun, supportive environment.

GRASS ROOTS
Our Head Coach proudly runs a community youth football team for children in the Under-5 (U5) age category, providing a fun and supportive introduction to the game. Our sessions focus on developing basic motor skills, coordination, and confidence through age-appropriate activities and games. With an emphasis on enjoyment and participation, we create a positive environment where young children can make friends, stay active, and start their football journey in a safe and nurturing setting.
